About a year ago we started out with an inspiration board and a lackluster space…   Our finished product today is…   The paint color is Alpaca by Sherwin Williams.  The crib, bedding, and light fixture are from RH baby&child. We found the dresser and end table in an antique store for $75 and I refinished them with Annie Sloan Chalk Paint in cream. These signs were a custom order from Vinyl Crafts on Etsy. The mirror is from Homegoods…. Read more »

On January 25th my mom gave us a beautiful baby shower.  It was a quiet snowy day and everything was perfect.  The idea of being 30 pounds heavier and caught off-guard didn’t exactly thrill me so it wasn’t a surprise.  My family and I made the decorations and decorating the venue together was of course one of my favorite parts! Here are some of the photos from that day.

Soooo I took a 7 month hiatus (probably closer to 8) from blogging. There is a good chance that I am the only one that noticed this but that’s okay! There is something about blogging that makes me feel good and I am so happy to be back in the swing of things. Having my son has been the best and most life changing experience. So let’s get caught up on things…   My next couple of posts will consist… Read more »

I do a lot of daydreaming.  Always have and always will.  I daydream about creating different spaces as I come across things that inspire me.  So every once in a while I browse some of my favorite websites, pin about 3242340 things, and create what I call inspiration boards. I figured that the blog would be a great place to share some of my creations with you.   A little black and gold to start off the new year…  … Read more »

Basically you start with an empty jar on January 1st and throughout the year you write down memorable moments on little pieces of paper.  On December 31st you sit and go through all of the different memories that were documented throughout the year via this little jar. Here is my take… Read more »

I am always looking for new craft ideas and the holidays give me an excuse to experiment!  I usually start out by wandering around Michael’s and I know I am in trouble when I grab a wagon instead of a basket to shop! This is what I came home with after my shopping trip…   So I started making some of my usual labels…   I was a little bored until I came across this great post on one of… Read more »
