I am always looking for new craft ideas and the holidays give me an excuse to experiment!  I usually start out by wandering around Michael’s and I know I am in trouble when I grab a wagon instead of a basket to shop! This is what I came home with after my shopping trip…

So I started making some of my usual labels…

I was a little bored until I came across this great post on one of my favorite blogs, Honey We’re Home.  If you don’t follow this blog it is definitely one to add to your blogroll! Megan uses Washi Tape to dress up her labels and it is exactly the face lift that I was looking for on mine! During my second trip to Michael’s I picked up some tape and continued with the rest of my projects.

To create these labels all you need is two different types of stamps, two different color ink pads, some of the decorative tape (pictured above), labels, two different pieces of scrapbook paper, and sparkles.

I also decided to try using stamps on wrapping paper…

Also used them on some gift bags…

The gift bags are for the kids so on the back I used some of my alphabet stamps to label them.  To be honest I wasn’t 100% sold on the way that these came out, but it will do for now.
