I knew when we bought this house that I wanted gray siding with a pretty blue front door.  It was easy to pick out the siding and the front door. The tricky part was finding the perfect shade of blue!  Here is what I was looking for – something that stands out enough to make a statement but not the kind of blue that looks like it belongs on a door in the Caribbean. Does that make sense? Okay good.

This is not what I was looking for.  So we went to the next color on the scale (Sonata) and it didn’t make a difference at all.  Don’t get me wrong in the shade this color was very pretty but it didn’t make the statement that I wanted.

On to the next…

The third color we tried was Viking by Behr.

Hi Lenora! I believe the contractor ordered it from WindowRama…it is a craftsman style door! Hope that helps!

Yes, that totally helps now that I know what they are called…my husband and I just keep pointing to them and saying “we want that kind.” That doesn’t always help the people at Lowes. :)
