Hi friends! If you’re thinking…what’s with all the tablescapes? I am with you.

Let me explain…

We started our bathroom reno the first week of November and it is still going on.  In the midst of that happening we started to demo and finish our basement. Starting new projects before we finish old ones is what we do best in this house!  We call it multitasking. Also, Blake is crawling! Yay!

These are all fun and exciting things but it all adds up to something like this…

dusty floors + dirt + crawling baby + small space = stressed out mommy with very little time

Can you relate?

So that brings me to the table…a clean and blank slate.  We usually eat at the breakfast bar so once the table is set I enjoy it for about a week before moving to the next design.   Sometimes it’s as simple as a table runner with candles or a pretty vase. Another advantage is that I usually am able to design and style the table all during Blake’s nap! I look forward to and often dream about styling the mantel of a fireplace but that won’t happen until we decide to move again.

These tea cups make my heart skip a beat. The detail is so perfect. The adorable pink and white bags are filled with chocolates.  I found them in the bridal aisle at Michael’s and thought they would fit in perfectly!

Btw – I never have this much pink in my house at once but I have to say that I am enjoying it for the month of February!
